2012 while a fantastic year for a bunch of Hicks, also had many lows that led me to despair for several fleeting moments this past year. So in an attempt to keep what it truly important before my eyes and heart, I am making a conscience effort to remember why I must be grateful daily; weekly.
So here's week one: family.
I love my family. I am truly blessed not only to have an extraordinary family by blood, but also my family by marriage. This last week I was able to see members of both sides of the family thanks to the holiday. Even though both sides couldn't be more different I love what each person brings to our special circle. I am grateful for their love and support for our little bunch of Hicks.
